Hasegawa Chikuyo

Chikuyo Hasegawa (birth and death unknown) was an ukiyo-e artist in the Meiji era.

A student of Kunisada Utagawa. The surname is Hasegawa and the first name is Kannosuke or Kuniyoshi. It is called Suiken. The drawing period was from 1876 (Meiji 9) to 1889 (Meiji 22), and it is known that he mainly drew kaika-e such as "Tokyo Scenic Beauty Kaika-e" and Uchiwa-e. The style of painting is strongly influenced by Hiroshige III, the third generation. There is also "Joshu Tomioka Thread Mill Nozu", but there are not many works.
