Aodo Denzen

Denzen Aodo (1748) -May 7, 1822 (June 25, 1822) was a Western-style painter and copperplate painter in the late Edo period. Born in Sukagawa, Mutsu Province (currently Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture). His real name was Zenkichi Nagata, and he was abbreviated as Tazen. It was also said to be large. Denzen Aodo is the issue, and the seal is "AEUDOO DENZENTO". Another issue is Hoshizando and Ao Chenjin.

Born as the second son of Soushirou Nagata, a millionaire who runs a farm equipment dealer. His father died at the age of eight, and he helped his older brother, Takekichi, who was a Konya, for a long time. His older brother was so enthusiastic that he had a painting title, and Tazen learned painting from his older brother while working in the family business. Kodera-san is dedicated to Hakusanji Temple. In the first year of Anei (1772), when he visited Ise, he learned painting about Gessen, a painting priest at Jakushoji Temple in Uji Yamada, Ise Province.
