Harukawa Goshichi

Harukawa Goshichi (Harukawa Goshichi, Anei 5th year <1776> -Tenpo 2nd year <1831>) is an ukiyo-e artist and gesaku artist in the late Edo period.

A student of Harukawa Eizan. His surname is Aoki, and his common name is Kamesuke. The name of the picture is Harukawa Goshichi, and the name of the play is Kamiya Hoshu. Also known as Horai-tei and Kamiya Horai-sanjin. Born in Edo? It is also said to be a gokenin. He first lived in Koishikawa, Edo, and later moved to Hongo Yummachi, where he was called Kamiya Hoshu. Around the end of the culture, he moved to Kyoto Gion Shimogawara (in "Supplementary Ukiyo Eki", "Kyoto Ohara Yasaka area", which means the same place) and died there.
