Goto Yoshikage

Yoshikage Goto (Yoshikage Goto, Ansei 5 (1858) -Taisho 11 (1922)) was an ukiyo-e artist in Osaka from the Meiji era to the Taisho era.

A master of Ichiyotei Yoshitaki. His surname is Goto and his first name is Tokujiro. It was also called Yoshikage, Toyosai, and Kawazu Yoshikage. Born in Osaka. I used to live in Tokyo for a while, but by 1879, I lived in 5 Nishi-Shimizu-cho, Osaka, and in 1910, I lived in 1-chome, Shio-cho, Minami-ku, Osaka. .. From the 6th year of the Meiji era (1873) to the 30th year of the Meiji era (1897), in addition to the actor paintings, he painted Meiji genre paintings and war paintings of the Sino-Japanese War.
