Ganjosai Kunihiro (birth and death unknown) is an ukiyo-e artist from Osaka during the Edo period.
A person from Osaka lives in Ebisubashi 1-chome north. The surnames of Takikawa and Utagawa were named Marujosai and Gangnam-tei, but most of the works were signed only as "Kunihiro". In the work of Bunka 13 (1816), there is "Marujo Kai Kokuhiroga", and it is known that it was called Marujo before this. Although it is said to be the first Utagawa Toyokuni master, there are few examples of using Utagawa's painting surname, which indicates that it is a Utagawa school, and the style is different from that of Toyokuni's masters. Some people doubt that he will be a student of Toyokuni. The drawing period that can be confirmed is from the 13th year of Bunka to the 12th year of Tenpo (1841), leaving about 100 actor pictures and surimono. Since it was also called Tenmaya Kunihiro, it is possible that he was the same person as Tenmaya Kibei, the publisher of Osaka at that time. However, Kunihiro also has pictures printed by publishers other than Tenmaya, and it is said that if they are the same person, they cannot publish pictures from publishers other than their own. Kunihira is one of the students, and Kuniharu and Kuniharu are also considered to be Kunihiro's students.
