Yoshitsuru Utagawa (birth and death unknown) is an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period.
A student of Kuniyoshi Utagawa. Common names are Chojiro and Ichigosai. He lost his parents when he was a child and was brought up by Tose Fujima, a dancer at Nihonbashi Hongokucho 2-chome. After hearing that his friend Utagawa Yoshitsuya had started Kuniyoshi, he also became Kuniyoshi's subordinate. The drawing period is said to be from Tenpo to Kaei, and he has worked on many things such as warrior paintings, actor paintings, bijin-ga, sketches of sculptures, and illustrations of gōkan and picture books. He also wrote for Kuniyoshi. The year of birth and death is unknown, but in the "Ukiyo-e Artist Name Dictionary", it is written as "Koka, 33 years old."
