Utagawa Toyonobu

Toyonobu Utagawa (Toyonobu Utagawa, November 6th year of Ansei (1859) -August 10th of 19th year of Meiji (1886)) is an ukiyo-e artist from the Meiji era.

The eldest son of the second generation Utagawa Kunihisa, the grandson of the third generation Utagawa Toyokuni, and the younger brother of Utagawa Kunimine. His real surname is Katsuta, commonly known as Kintaro. In honor of Utagawa's painting surname, it is called Kabane Tower, Ichiyosai. Lives in Kameido Town. In the Meiji era, he left behind paintings of actors and warriors, and in 1884 he won the award for his work at the Painting Co-Promotion Society. Year 28.
