Utagawa Kunitora (birth and death unknown) is an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period.
The first student of Toyokuni Utagawa. His real surname is Maeda, and his common name is Kumezo or Shigeru. It is called Ichiryusai. The drawing period is said to be from culture to the Tenpo period, and most of the works are uki-e, and the style of painting is said to have been influenced by Western copperplate prints. According to the story of Utagawa Toyokuni's grandson, Umeko Ikawa, "Ukiyo-e Shiden", Kukitora didn't like to draw very much, but it worked well once in a while. His teacher, Toyokuni, praised his skill and had Kunitora make his own work. He also wrote well and liked go and fishing. It is said that he died at the age of 60 when he was in Ansei at his nephew's house. "Introduction to Illustrated Ukiyo-e" is born around the end of Kansei.
