Torii Kiyosada

Torii Kiyosada (Torii Kiyosada, first year of Koka <1844> August-Meiji 34 <1901> February 14) is an ukiyo-e artist from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period.

Kuniyoshi Utagawa and Kiyomitsu Torii, the third generation. His real surname is Watanabe and later Saito. Childhood name Matsujiro, commonly known as Chohachi. It is called a butterfly bee. At the age of 13, he entered the gate of Kuniyoshi and called him Hogo, but after Kuniyoshi died in the first year of Bunkyu (1861), he became the third generation Kiyomitsu. The drawing period was from the 5th year of Ansei (1858) to the time of his death, and in 1880 he became the back-door in the new construction of Kishoza, and mainly drew the play numbering. At the age of 58, the graveyard is Myokenji Temple in Shitaya Shichikencho. The name of the priest is Kentokuin Seisada Nika. His son is the fourth generation Torii Kiyotada.
