Tachibana Yasukuni

Tachibana Yasukuni (Easy to use, Shotoku 5th year (1715) --Kansei 4th year leap February 23rd (April 14th, 1792)) is a Kano school town painter who was active in Osaka in the middle of the Edo period.

A child of Morikuni Tachibana, a student. People in Osaka. The childhood name is Daisuke. It is said that he also used the name Akitsukudo, which is the same name as his father. He learned about the Kano school of painting about his father, and took over his father's work and mainly drew illustrations for picture books. There is also a collaboration with my father.

His writings include 5 volumes of "Picture Book Noyamagusa" published in Horeki 5 (1755), 3 volumes of "Gashi" published in Horeki 7 (1757), and "Picture Book Noyamagusa" published in Anei 8 (1779). There are 5 volumes of "Picture Book Selection". Among them, "Picture Book Noyamakusa" is a book that describes the characteristics of 165 plants with detailed figures. On the other hand, Hokoku should have drawn a hand-drawn drawing, but it has hardly been confirmed at present. By the 5th year of the Horeki calendar, he had obtained Hobashi, and by the 7th year of Meiwa (1770), he had obtained the legal position. Kansei 4th year (1792) Leap died on February 23. Year of enjoyment 78. Like my father, the graveyard is Kujoji in Nakadera-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka.

It is presumed that his son, Yasuharu Tachibana, and Moriyuki Tachibana were also fathers and disciples of Hokoku.
