Kitagawa Shikimaro (Kitagawa Shikimaro, birth and death unknown) is an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period.
Keisai Eisen's "Unnamed Osamu Essay" describes him as a master of Utamaro, but it is said that he is a master of Tsukimaro Kitagawa, who is under the control of Utamaro, because no pre-cultural work can be found in the traditional works. His surname is Shoji and his first name is Sumi. The popular name is Heijiemon (or Heijiemon). The characters are also called foot water and cow balustrade. I lived under Koishikawa Suidobashi Ushitenjin. Named Kitagawa as the surname, he drew nishiki-e, printed book illustrations, and hand-drawn drawings during the cultural period. Illustrations for the printed books include the combined volume "Autumn Takano Koyo" (Katakiuchi Koya Momiji: Jippensha Ikku) published in 1810, and "Sakuragaike" published in the same year.
