Katsukawa Shuntei (Katsukawa Shuntei, year of birth unknown-November 9, 1824 ) is an ukiyo-e artist in the late Edo period.

A master of Katsukawa Haruhide. Along with Katsukawa Shunsen, it is said to be the best of both worlds under Shunei. His real surname is Yamaguchi (or Nakagawa), and his first name is Chojuro. Named Kachigawa, they are called Matsutakasai, Kyutsubo, Gisumi-an, Kosuiyama Lumberjack, and Miyayamajin. Lived in Edo Bakurocho and later in Kanda Izumicho. From Kansei to Bunsei, he drew many nishiki-e such as warrior paintings, actor paintings, bijin-ga paintings, and famous paintings, but he also drew much more reading books, Kibyoshi, Kusazoshi, and gōkan illustrations.

The most common Nishiki-e in Shuntei is the samurai painting. We prepared for the next generation of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, leaving behind a masterpiece that made use of the two- and three-sheet format, which was still rare in Musha-e. Other well-known masterpieces include Utei Enba's "Hanaeto Kabuki Chronicles", five volumes and 20 volumes, and Western-style landscape paintings such as "Fukagawa Shinchi no Zu" and "Omi Hakkei." There are also hand-drawn drawings, but the number is small. Shuntei's Bijin-ga is strongly influenced by other ukiyo-e artists, and the style of the first Utagawa Toyokuni can be seen in the cultural era. , It becomes a proportion of a short body, and is familiar with the style of painting in Toyokuni's later years. It should be noted that the colored paper-sized surimono "Shikoro Hikizu" has the signature and Kao of "Hasegawa Kyuzo's brush painting, Katsutsubo Harutei painting", and the relationship with Kamigata is pointed out.
