Inoue Yasuji

Yasuji Inoue (Yasuji Inoue, 4th year of Bunkyu / 1st year of Genji (1864) --September 14, 1889) was an ukiyo-e artist and printmaker in the early Meiji era. There is also a theory that the name is read as Yasuharu. His real name is Yasujiro. Depending on the work, Yasuji, Yasuji, Yasujiro, and Yasujiro were signed, and they were also called Sightseeing.

He was considered to be the most disciple of Kiyochika Kobayashi, and although he was short-lived, he left an excellent piece in the ray painting.

Born in Asakusa Namiki-cho (now Kaminarimon 2-chome) as the eldest son of Izumi Shichi. My father was born in a Nishikori wholesaler called Koraiya in Kawagoe Kajimachi (currently Saiwaicho), but he went out to Edo and worked at the Maruya Komagatamachi in Asakusa Komagatamachi. It is the first. The brothers have an older sister and a younger brother, and it seems that they were raised by their mother after their father died at the age of 13.
